The spiral stairs lead to a large balcony with filgree plate to match the design. The balcony is supported by decorative gallows brackets and a support column at the end.

The Victorian spiral stairs with 1 baluster per tread in the basic design. This 1194mm diameter was cleverly used to gain access to a loft room by using the small space on the landing and still allowing access to the bedrooms on the lower floor. This would not be acceptable for building regulations as the gap btween the balusters are greater than 100mm but this could be solved by fitting additional balusters.
