Scandinavian spirals with Wooden Handrails

Based on a contemporary design, this model offers a more modern feel, with many options for creating your own individual style. The treads are either finest birch faced timber or solid timber, supplied ready sanded for just the finishing touch to be applied. The Scandinavian can be ordered with either the Victorian baluster, a plain baluster or any wrought iron baluster available. Riser bars can also be fitted if required to meet current building regulations. This versatile design is available in any diameter to suit your available space. If space is limited, we will endeavour to design a suitable spiral to fit. Timber handrails & carpet recessed treads are both available.

This was one of our first prestiges commissions in a warehouse conversion in Derbyshire. The spiral treads and handrail are in Beech.

This commission invloved the spiral stairs, the landing balustrade at lower and upper floor areas and the fascia and capping to the well faces. The combination of all this created a stunning finish tying all the areas together.

Oak Scandinavian 1830mm diameter with continuous handrail.

This main staircase created a fabulous feature in this old house. The continous handrail on the spiral and matching balustrade in the same area brought the whole scheme together. The spiral and matching balustrade handrails all swept down to the floor so there were no newel posts.
